What makes photography art?
Depending on your reference, there are many different definitions and interpretations of what fine art photography is. A common shared theme is that it is photography originally captured for the purpose of later being used as art.
Imagine a photographer seeking out a particular landscape at a certain time of day and staging themself at an ideal vantage point to capture a stunning photograph. Picture a photographer that discovers a centuries-old tree and is drawn in by its natural curves and weathered bark.
The resulting photography art created from both these scenarios was originally imagined through an artistic lens and creative thought.
